Weeks 15, 16 and 17

Well...what can I say? Hahaha! These last weeks have been busy but I did keep taking my daily photos. Putting the LOs together was another story. I will try to catch up over the next few weeks so that I am not scrambling at the end of the year to put together my album (famous last words...right??) These weeks were created using cre@bisontine's Retro Spring kit along with elements and templates from designers such as Anna Aspnes, SusyQ, Sugarplum Paperie, and Sweet Blossom designs. I love how they turned out!

Week 14

Here is week 14! I had time to get caught up this week and hopefully I'll be able to stay on it for the rest of the month when I get back to work. Ha! I am using many Project 365 products but the papers and embellies this month are from Crea-Bisontine's Retro Spring kit.

Weeks 11, 12 and 13

I am almost caught up. Just need to do Week 14 and I'm good! Of course, Week 15 starts tomorrow!! I still love taking all of these photos! Great practice with my camera and I know I will enjoy looking through the album at the end of the year!

Spring Break!!

Week 9 and Week 10

Although I've been taking my photo-a-day, I have fallen behind in putting together my weekly layouts! I spent some time yesterday and put together these two. I will put together Week 11 and Week 12 next weekend if not sooner.

I am still enjoying learning the settings on my camera. The great thing is, I am taking photos of everything around me in the process. It will be fun to look back at some of these things and remember them or remember the moment I captured digitally!

Week 8

Another week has gone by and we are nearly saying adios to February. This week was Fraser's birthday and I was unable to connect with him. I hope you had a wonderful day son! My photos are continued attempts to learn the settings on my camera. This week I played with depth of field. There is so much to remember but taking a photo a day has given me the motivation and practice to really remember how to use the buttons! Here is this week's layout.

Week 7

Woohoo!! On time this week. This week's photos are just snapshots in time. I am really looking forward to my album(s) at the end of the year!

Week 6

Well, I'm late this week even though I took my daily pictures and had my LO done! I just didn't get around to updating this blog! Anyway, this week I played with the White Balance on my camera. Many of these pictures are rather boring but I did learn to play more with that feature on my camera. Here is this weeks LO.

Week 5

As I mentioned, this week's subject is Brenainn. He was a great sport in letting me photograph him every day! I captured him doing many of the things he loves...talking on the phone with his girlfriend, returning from a hike with friends, being silly, watching TV, taking pictures...my youngest son!

February...the shortest month

This week I am taking photos of Brenainn. He is such a handsome young man if I do say so myself! So far he has been a willing participant in my Photo-a-Day project. So far, these are my two favorites pictures.

Week 4

I am actually on time this week!! I decided to take photos of some of my brood...my chicken collection! Here is the resulting LO. I have to say that taking a photo a day is eye-opening and really forces me to take a good look around. I won't always do a theme for the week, but this is fun!

Week 3

As you can see, I decided to take outdoor photos this week. I guess the unseasonable warm weather inspired me! This was also a very exciting week as the world watched the USA inaugurate a history-making president! Seeing the photos in the galleries is really moving...Yes we can!

Week 2

Here is my Week 2 layout. I had it ready on Wednesday except for one photo on my phone. Since I don't use this very often, I waited until today to upload it to my computer for placement on the LO.

Week 3 will be Outdoor Photos. I am really enjoying this challenge so far!

Hello 2009 and Project 365!

Well, I've decided to separate my Project 365 postings from my layout blog. Please be nice as I set this up.


My youngest son and I have taken on the challenge this year! I am excited and look forward to printing out my book at the end of the year and helping him with putting one together with his photos. (He is a great photographer!!) I am taking the non-stress route to this. Taking photos of my life today is my goal. Some weeks I may use a theme and others will just be documenting the world, people and events around me. The photos will be ordinary snapshots, especially at first, with hopes of improving my photos as the year progresses. So here's to looking at you through my lenses!!
